The fence is done and he did a good job! I don't think he wants to stain my deck though. haha Hmmm, maybe I could get those frat boys out here for some community service? heehee

Morning! Where's everyone at? :wink: I need to clean my bathroom today and then maybe start power washing the decks. I need to get them stained before the real cold kicks in. The boys say they will come to help but knowing me, I'll have it almost done by then. My plan is to start after the 27th. I'll have a couple of days to work before Jim's appointment. Hope the weather stays nice. But we all know October can place snow in our way. haha Did I just say that????

:hug: to all. Good to see some of our old timers checking in. :hug:

Good Morning! I am already for class so I thought I would pop in for a minute. Now that I am here, I really do not have anything new to share. It looks like it is going to storm here. Wow, I am really boring today. I hope I am not that boring in my class.:rolleyes: We are discussing women and military policy/law today. Hope you all are having a good day!:hug:

Morning! :)

Ahhhhh.....a nice cool morning here for a change. Upper 50's earlier. It will still get pretty warm this afternoon but nothing like it was in August....or even earlier this month.

I need to run to the grocery for some fruit and veggies once DS gets home this afternoon. Other than that I have nothing planned.

Tomorrow I'll make another loaf of bread. I just love my bread machine. It's fun to hear it wooshing and humming in the kitchen and know that in a couple of hours there will be a warm, fresh loaf of bread! And it tastes so much better than the store bought stuff. A store bought loaf was just too big and I was throwing away stale and/or moldy bread too often.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! :grouphug:

UGH! I had a whole post typed up, got a call from my neighbor to come over, and came back and accidentally hit the cancel.

I read through the posts this morning and wouldn't you know, the interruption I got distracted me enough to not remember them. :rolleyes::p Since I have missed so much, I'm just going to jump back in. . . .

It's been a busy past few weeks. The weather on our vacation was fantastic and I survived the 10 hour drive each way with minimal trouble and no drugs! I loved being up in the mountains with low 70s. My legs loved it. I leave Saturday for vacation #2. In the past 20 years, I have only taken 2 vacations out of town (other than a few long weekends). So 2 longer vacations in 1 month is pretty unusual but fun.

My neighbor is having a huge art sale in November and wants me to contribute. She saw all my paintings that I have just sitting around and wants them all in the sale plus anymore that I do. I spent last week and will spend a good portion of this week painting and doing other artwork (drawings) to put in the sale.

I hope all of you are doing well and starting to feel better with the cooler temps coming your way. (We still have another couple of months of this carp - give or take).

Have a great day everyone!:hug::grouphug:

Not yet.....but it sounds delicious! The manual has several recipes that I want to try. White and Honey Wheat have been the only two I've attempted so far but they've both turned out good. :)
