Spent the weekend with the great company of a stomach bug. So I spent Saturday in a hotel in Indianapolis in the bathroom. Giving a test this morning and then canceling my class this afternoon and going home.

Barb, sorry to hear about the tummy bug. :( Hope it clears up soon!
Sox, it's great to hear he's eating. Hoping the meds keep helping him.:hug: Everyone, :grouphug::grouphug: |
Sandy, I'm sorry you lost your friend.
Barb, I hope you feel better soon. A nice cool day on tap for us. It's getting into the low 40s at night. Barometric pressure is up, so I want to sleep. DH is off work this week and he wants to tackle chores. Gonna be an interesting week! :) School is out on Fall break, so the almost 15 yr old is home too. |
barb....feel better soon!
pam...enjoy your delightful weather. fin...hiya!:) |
Hello! :) Beautiful, crisp, cool day here in North Georgia. Pam......we deserve these cool days after the oppressive heat we endured this summer. It's supposed to be back up to 80 this weekend but that's okay with me. The mornings are still in the 40's and 50's.
 I am so mad at my elliptical. It's got problems with the display and now the big wheel thingy is stuck on a level that's way too hard for me to do for any length of time. I'm corresponding with the company I bought it from and they better come through for me. I just don't have the extra $$ to fool around with. I've got a big pot of homemade chili on the stove simmering away. My next big thing will be to make a pot of homemade vegetable soup. YUM! Barb, I hope you're feeling better. Fin, you too! Hope your furbaby is okay. Sox, I'm so glad the meds are beginning to work for your little guy. It's SO hard on us Mom's to see our own suffering. Pam, hopefully the heat is a thing of the past for us now. Everybody else......hope you're well. Everyone have a beautiful Monday! :grouphug: |
I am still queasy. I assume I have a stomach bug that is going around, but four days seems like a long time. I keep wondering if the tizantidine is causing this problem. It did make me nauseated when I first started taking but not like this. I did increase my dose by one pill last week. So I am only taking a total of 6 mg a day. I think I am going to take a few days off and see if this goes away. Then I will try it again to see if the nausea gets worse.

Barb, sorry to hear you're still feeling blah.:hug:
Kelly, sorry to hear the elliptical is broken. Hope they are able to fix it free of charge.:hug: Pam, hope the DH gets his honey-do list completed. :) Everyone, :grouphug::grouphug: ~~~~~~ Kitty is in animal hospital, crossing fingers. Toxicity in kidneys are very high, and they are giving her iv fluids in hopes of bringing it down. We're supposed to get an update later on today, and they'll run bloodwork again tomorrow. Pretty much age and typical for her breeding brought this on, and because the other one is a scrounge -- it's tough to call how long this might have been coming. We give treats for their dental health and some moist cat food from time to time for their coats, and her not eating those raised the red flags. :( The other kitty is looking a little lost and needed some cuddling last night. She's never been without her older sister. :( |
fin.....I hope your dear kitty is feeling much better soon.

Good morning, Everyone!
Fin - I hope your kitty starts feeling better soon. Poor thing.:( Barb - I hope you start feeling better soon. Some stomach bugs actually take a few weeks to get out of your system. The symptoms can be on and off during that time. Hoping that is the case with you and it is not something else going on. Sandy - Sorry to hear about your friend. :( Kelly & Pam - I am so jealous of you southerners with your cooler temps. We still averaging 100s. Today is supposed to be a bit cooler but it's still hot. Enjoy your nice weather. Sox - Glad to hear the meds may be helping your DS. I will pray that continues and he does better. Hi everyone else! Thinking of you as well and hoping you all are doing well. Made it through my busy time for work. Phew! I sent off my billing this morning and getting ready to enjoy a little down time. Of course I was typing and when I finished what I had, I painted until I got more, then typed some more, and then painted some more, typed some, paint some, etc. You get the picture. That is what I have been doing over the last several days. Have a great day everyone!:grouphug: |
