Having raised my son alone I can manage fine with them I am sure and since I updated last I got an email from a local hospital letting me know they were considering me to be the new Bariatric surgery Center Coordinator for their hospital! Hi Everyone Else! I hope you all are having a great day.

All this running around trying to de-allergen my house as well as taking care of DD16 and the stress of it all caught up with me today. I took my car in for a tune up before our trip tomorrow and I could hardly keep my eyes open. I came home and took a 3 hour nap!:eek: I missed 1/2 the afternoon.

Now I have to play catch up (picking up prescriptions and topping off the gas tank in the car).

You mean Twink? LOL. No, actually DD18 is coming and will be doing most of the driving. Despite that she is a grump in the morning, she is really looking forward to this trip and more than willing to do all the driving. DD16 is not well enough to drive yet and it is still questionable whether or not she will be going. We'll make that decision in the morning and should she stay, my parents offered to have her come stay with them for the day.

Been offline, literally, since wednsday. we had a bunch of nasty storms come through that night that zonked out our system. LOL, just my luck it happened while hubby was away. :rolleyes:

Fixed for now, but another round of storms are supposed to blow through tonight. So much fun.

Happy saturday everyone figured out yesterday you can add comments on the pics, i did and also added more pics found a few on debs phones photo album on line thank god, cause we had a lost everything about 4 months ago or longer, i had just backed up my writings on a disc and afew days later it all died, almost lost all my poems, lost a lot of pics so its worth it to burn a CD disc of your writings or songs or pics

Good morning all :) It looks like it's going to be another rainy day outside today. Drinking my coffee as usual and trying to plan the day.

Not 100% sure what we're going to do today. There's a possibility we're going to see some friends of his. They plan on opening up a micro brewery for mead, and we might go up there for the grand opening. Which would be fun. :)

It's 70 degrees and breezy so my doors are open. I am finishing up my laundry and then packing for our trip tomorrow. I am excited just to be getting away for a few days.

The doctor called last night and said he said he spoke with the infectious disease doctor. They are going to cross paths next Tuesday to decide what is the plan for Jim. I told him to call us Wednesday because we'll be out of town. When he called, he apologized for the late call again and I said "That's Ok, I was just boxing my son" He said "I hope your winning" and I said "No, he beat me up" lmao Yes, I told him it was Wii, I just thought it was funny.

I am sitting at my brothers while DDs are visiting with their dad. I am resting up after the GTG lunch with Twink and Co. It was fun. I posted pictures, the few I had. We were having technical difficulties with both cameras today. Twink resorted to her phone.:eek: Those aught to be good. LOL.

Not much is going on here. The weather here is lovely now. My potted flowers were destroyed last night during the storms. Have just been reading for most of the day.

I'm reading the three Andy Brazil books (Southern Cross, Isle of Dogs, and Hornet's Nest)

Kay Scarpetta is only mentioned briefly in one, not at all in another, but has some "walk-on" lines in Isle of Dogs...

these Andy Brazil books are quite a departure, and showcase Cornwell's thoroughly bent sense of humour, which I am enjoying mightily.

I think I am going to treat myself to a trip to Barnes and Noble tomorrow, as there is nothing to do out here, the peace and quiet are to peaceful and quiet! LOL However, and I have not shared this bit of info, ever since my husband walked out on us I have anxiety attacks whenever I go to a public place by myself even if the kids are with me...if my mom goes with me I am fine, I am sure it is a stress thing but do you know how bad it sucks to freak out over having to go to Walmart?

OMG, Renee I did the same thing! It was the worst feeling to walk into a store and feel like the walls were closing in on me! It sucks REALLY bad! But, it goes away!

Actually NaeNae, a lot of people have that reaction in Walmart..LOL..

Sandy, Hope you and Jim have a good time and that the weather is perfect. I was up in the Dells several years ago. Didn't do any bungee jumping, but the pools were nice.

Nae Nae -- Can only stay in wally world about 15 to 20 minutes and then I have had it. Hate that store! Hope you find some good books today. I buy aboout 1/2 of the books I get from amazon.

Um Frank, I believe it was you that was posting about overdoing it and the consequences in overdoing it. Take it slow!!!! Don't take the highway at 85 because slamming in to that brick wall hurts. LOL. I break my "tasks" up with rests.

Barb - Overstock . com has some books as well and you can get them really inexpensively. I had a gift certificate from there and bought a bunch of books between $1.00 and $5.00. Yipee!!!

we did it ... got everything OUT of the tincondo saturday - now it's all on a trailer and in my friend's garage (plus the storage unit is stuffed!) ...going to have to REALLY downsize! don't know when I'll be moving in yet... but good news is that I may be able to actually move in this week!

I hurt, I'm sore, tired ... emotionally drained ... but, okay .. thanks for being my friends ... I overdid it .. .and have to find the energy to start 'cleaning' and sorting and tossing and donating ... I made 2 trips yesterday .. total of over 600 miles - just for me .. and packing and loading and unloading .. I'm pooped!

about the miracle? it still may happen ... but I will fill you in on the particulars later ... nothing to get worried about ..

the BEST part - is that I'm OUTTA there ... and starting a new life today ... and not sure where to start .. so, I'm going to get my hair cut first!
