Jim is getting re-evaluated for a new cushion too Judy. His Roho isn't doing the job anymore. He'll also get evaluated for a leg spreader and new mattress. His left bum is compromised and the skin is thin so it gets abrasions quite often. I keep a good cream on them and sometimes bandages so they don't turn into an ulcer. Those darn things scare me. Did you know the main cause of Christopher Reeve's death was a bed sore gone bad?

new news...flash...i've got new neighbors.
thankfully all is quiet now but when i wanted to nap at 1530 it sounded like there was 100 people in their apt.

the women were all talking LOUDLY, the kids were yelling and screaming and babies were crying. i think they had the whole neighborhood in there.
there was no english so i'm sure it's another family from India.

they get together in very large groups. women and children in the afternoon. things get very quiet after the men come home from work.

when am i moving??????

Good Morning Judy dear and troops! Just caught up reading and see that you got a good Betty Boop report! I'm smiling at that!! Can you see me??? I am so tired of the Winter mess and cold and am so hoping to get to NC soon, but DS is still having pain.

He has had so many tests and just Tues, he had a colonoscopy that showed angio dysplasia in his colon. He's had it before, but it should not be the source of his pain. They started him on a new med and are thinking he may have some hardened adhesions from his transplant surgery in '94. I don't know what they will do about them, but at least there is nothing else serious showing up. It's been a stressful ~ long couple of months.

We just went to a funeral for DH's 55 yo cousin who passed away suddenly from blood clots in her legs that went to her lungs. It was indeed, very sad.

Well, troops~ hope today finds you feeling better and Judy?? Hope your ''sitter'' is doing better? What's w/that??

Neighbors like that?? YIkes! Im pretty lucky where I am..I have
noone directly acrosse the street from and on the left for about a 1/4
mile..someone fairly close on the right but she is a wonderful 84 year
old woman...and noone behind except for a small mtn.

Its probably we who bugs Mrs. L....with our bbq/pool parties in the summer.
But her hearing is going so maybe its allright. We always invite her and
bring her leftovers.

anywho.............treat yourself good. Are you going to a football party
on Sunday??? We will ;have a small one here with about 15 people.

i ended up staying in today.
had to wait for my copaxone.
Fed Ex was supposed to deliver it Wed so i stayed home. they never came.
said the weather had held them up.

but, they also said the pkg was in a local warehouse and our weather is fine.
so set it up for today. couldn't be home yesterday. now it's 1600 and it's supposed to be here. i called and they said it was on the truck and he was behind from this am. hmmmmm.

they're open til 1900 and if i don't have it by 1700 i'm going to talk to a supervisor. the med can stay out of the fridge but i don't want it waylayed til mon. God knows in what cold warehouse it might be kept in. if it doesn't look normal (clear) i'll call the pharmacy and they'll have to replace it.

normally Fed Ex is more reliable than this.
so, tomorrow i'll go out and run some errands.
i did laundry today and changed my bed.
but i learned not to do everything in 1 day. no meltdowns this wk/e.

the C just came and it's ok.

Judy, I sent a FedEx package to Arkansas and it's delayed too. The ice storm apparently and Memphis is a main hub for them. I really wanted the package to arrive today but hopefully it will get delivered by tomorrow.

We haven't heard from the pt staff yet. I guess I'll have to call on Monday, again. Glad your C is there.

i did go out today and ran a few errands.
i still have to walk. i'm tired and it's getting late so i better get moving.
i want my sticker for the last day of the month.

i also took a shower and that's why i'm tired. i think if i don't nap i sleep better but about 5 i really want to lay down.

i'm ashamed to say but it was 63 here today. 37 tomorrow. then it's warming up to 50's and 60's by the end of the wk.

boy are we due for some snow. oops, now i've said it.

totally gotta catch up, but late, I worked tonight, but also work in morning, so better get to sleep, the stiffness is creeping upon my body now as I sit oh noooooooooo

I am trying to eat healthier, the past few days getting a start. been playing Wii games, is fun..and feeling it in muscles. Hubby just ordered the Wii Fit. Which I think I will like, there is yoga on there. Also downhill skiiing...you use a board you stand on and balance on it I think. might be good for the body.
