Dear Majo,
It is going to be ok.
You can walk or march in place for 10 minutes.
My mother used to do that.

small pepper jack cheese sandwich on the mini bun at 9;30(180 cal)
veggie patty sandwich at subway 2pm(400 cal)
hubby made a favorite dish and I knew he was making it so I was prepareing myself to only have a small portion....his recipe makes a lot.
It is called company's coming chicken
Chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, lots of swiss cheese then topped with stove top stuffing....oh it was so good but I stuck to a small portion and savored every bite!
yummmy!!!!
4 oz chicken (120)
1/2 ounce of cheese (50)
2 tablespoons of cream of chicken(60)
bits of stuffing (50???)
we also had steamed spinach(50 cal) and a wonderful creole tomato!!!(50 cal)
amazingly...I have enough left over to have a beer!
yippee!

I have been exercising regularly and last night realized that I needed to do something different...Walked on an endless stairs machine...for only 5 minutes...I almost fell down my muscles were so fatigued. I had been only lifting upper body weights and have ignored my legs....
I can now use the endless rope for 2 minutes!!!!!
I measured myself and have lost many inches since I began this journey.
very happy about that! Down 20 pounds in 17 weeks today.
thank you for all of your support!

Thats great Bizi

I had a couple of great meals today. I had mac and cheese and a lot
of water.

Then I had a hamburger for supper. And a couple of other things.

Welcome Majo and...

Hang in there! you can't start off at 40 mins right off the bat. like Bizi, i've heard 20 sustained is the threshold for an aerobic workout though - have not heard 40 - that may include the warm up and cool down.

but anyway, you start at what you can do and no more. otherwise it is unhealthy! say, 5 mins, and if you can't do five you do, three, or just one. then you gradually find you hold out for longer. for some of us it takes more time to build up than others, don't let anybody tell you how much you 'should' be building up, or that you aren't doing enough. the important thing - but also the most difficult - is to just keep on doing it regularly. at least three times a week is recommended.

if you do that, you will get better and better. guaranteed. :)
