that was so kind of you. I used to cook a lot when i was young and thin and now that I am sixty six and fat I hardly cook. I don't have much patience and when i see a lot of ingredients i run. I also think a lot of single people don't bother as much.
I just ordered a lot of black beans thingies. I also ordered pretzels which are okay on the diet and fat free cool whip .
today i will break the diet because a friend is taking me out for my birthday.
I got on the scale today and i lost 10 pounds. I can't believe it

Okay I probably missed it. But if you don't mind are you on
insulin or a diabetic medicine. Reason I ask is when I went on Medformin
it was on of the things that helped me the most lose the 40lbs I've lost.

I too needed to lose weight bad. And diets just weren't helping. I went
to some diabetic classes and they set up my diet. But after the first class
when I went back. I had lost more weight than I should have the nurse
wanted to know how I had done that.

I told her I wasn't sure. I had just watched my diet and done what I was
told. She said, Darn I was hoping it was my diet plan. And that you hadn't
cut out foods.

dear bobby,
the reason why it is so important tha you keep your blood sugars even is that you can be affecting all of your cells. without even knowing it.
your kidneys your heart.... that is why keeping you blood sugars lower is so important.
please check your blood sugars and watch them.... it is important....
learn how to use the glucometer.
for your own good.

Dear Bobby,
These are good foods.
I don't cook either. I throw bagged lettuce in a bowl or make a pot of lentil soup. Keep going. You are doing great.

I'm glad that you are doing well with this plan. http://bestsmileys.com/fireworks/2.gif

This is a time for celebrating.

I am using Metformin and Glimerpride(sp). It didn't help me lose weight. I have cut down on eating since I started this diet. I spoke to a nutritionist but i don't know how much information she gave me and i did buy some books and read stuff on the net
