hi Bizi,

yes, i noticed that too, when i typed it out. i usually do eat more than that, but my appetite has always fluctuated somewhat from day to day. if i am genuinely hungry, i make no bones about eating twice that amount of food. conversely, if i'm not hungry, i don't eat much. i love food, but i do not like feeling full.

this is another reason i don't think counting calories is good for me because my body doesn't seem to "like" the same number of calories per day. :o it tells me what i need, if i listen to it. my biggest problem is when i comfort-eat, which has nothing to do with appetite! :o:rolleyes:

oh... i don't write it, but i also have, every day, 3 or 4 cups of coffee ( 1-2 caf, rest decaf). but i use a lot of milk - i probably total about 1 cup of milk per day, spread out over all the cups of coffee, plus i take 1 heaping teaspoon of sugar with each cup.

jogging

hey, i "walked" to/from the store today, and jogged & even ran some stints. dad came with, so he took the groceries back, on the bus. now i will see how my feet are, before trying it again. boy am i out of shape!!!! :o

anyway, i must say, i am pleased that i've kicked off trying to run again. who knows if i will be able to keep it up, but it all starts with the first day, and i did that.

i am having a beer now and feeling a bit guilty about "destroying" what exercise i had... but i would have had the beer even if i hadn't walked/run. so this is still better.

You still eat more than I do lots of days.

I just don't always have a appetite.

I eat what and when I want to.

I ate more yesterday though than I have in a while.

I had scrambled egg, and a biscuit for breakfast.

which kind of doubled for lunch. Because it was almost 11.

But that was because I had taken Derrick to the doctor.

I had a snack but can't remember what.

Then had supper twice, oops. Wasn't planned.

But first I had mac & cheese and then later my husband made

T-bone steaks for us all when he came in.

I also had some potato chips witth that.

Donna

yummmmm mac and cheese! :D

one of these days, i'm going to dig up my highschool cookbook, and make mac and cheese. i need that recipe because it is totally from scratch - you can't get a lot of mixes here :o ....

.... no mac and cheese, no rice-a-roni (yumm!) no betty crocker, no stovetop, no graham cracker crusts waaahhh :Bawling:!!! no pie filling, 1 or 2 types of campbell's soup at about $5 a can sheeez. and this would be a civilized country????:D:rolleyes::cool:

the only thing is now i think about it... that recipe requires cheddar cheese. and i can't get that either!!!! :hissyfit: nor american cheese. the kraft slices they sell here don't taste the same  - they taste like laughing cow cheese, which is ok, but i don't like it in the same foods as i do american cheese.

:Sigh:

Dear Waves,
Hearing about your running is wonderful.
It's a big new first step.

Dear Waves,
I can see how even though you have access to good cheese, you miss the cheese that fits with certain foods. Mac and cheese would be hard to duplicate without cheddars. I'm not sure I would even try. You'd have to get the cheese shipped in. How about some Vermont cheddar? We'll send you a virtual package of whatever you want. Make a big wish list. :D :)
