Frown Yes I Think I Am Depressed, and I am New

Hello All,
I am new here. I suffer from many health conditions that cause me depression. I have tried multiple medications and all seem to space me out. I just want to feel normal in every sense. I know that is not possible. I was forced to quit my teaching job due to my health. I have no insurance, or income. I am appealing my first denial for SSI. I try to avoid stress, but that is easier said then done. With all of that said, my main goal is to find a shoulder to cry on periodically. I really need a friend sometimes, especially on those long sleepless nights and difficult days. Peace to all and looking forward to getting to know you all. Hugs, Mary
