hi pooch,

i get your frustration. i'm glad the day has brightened for you.
i agree with dej that communication is key. where you go has to be right for both of you.

and whenever you need to vent it's safe here with us.

We will move, but he is looking for a weekend getaway, which sounds okay.
I am very fortunate that I do as good as I do and get around, no more complaints. Thanks for letting me vent.
That really made me happy to read! There's a first time for everything (me using this smiley)

It took 9 years of not working 1 in a chair (that year did it) - I'm bored. Never expected this, was so happy and loved my freedom and life until now. MS sucks. Some days DH is te only grownup I see. Next year both kids go off to college. Empty nest and MS!
NY is not the only place you can have that, Kicker. I saw the same in lots of neighborhoods in FL - nice cul-de-sacs, sidewalks with bus routes and really close shopping. Every kind of store, restaurant, thing to do or see I ever thought of. Even the parks were mostly scooter friendly.

Why do ya think the old folks go there to retire, lol?

But I'm saying, if it's in NY and FL, I'm sure lots of towns are the same. Houses on one floor (the house we're trying to buy does not even have a step up to enter, no ramp needed), places close you could w/c to or take bus and pretty things to see.

Some websites rate neighborhoods on a *Walking scale*, how car dependant you are there. Good idea to look into that for people who want to move.
