As many of my exodus friends know we had this thread before. ALL are welcome not just those with MS. This thread was alot of fun and support to many of us girls (and a couple of guys!) who became our own version of the MS YaYa's! just drop us a line as often as you feel like it and let us know how your day is going...or updates!

My update......Was up all night due to spasms....but I got to watch a lot of really crappy TV! Took my cairn terrier to the groomers this morning as he is beginning to resemble a mop. Taking the kids to petco later because Olivia wants to go see the shishies and the wok woks! (Fish and birds) That is if we ever make it thru homeschooling today.......

Well, I am glad I found this place thanks to my MSW buds. I'm on my comfy couch with my coffee and debating what to paint today. So many decisions. LOL.

Renee - Sorry to hear about the spasms. I hate those. Although a couple of Neurontin before bed makes me so groggy and I sleep like a rock, I can always tell when the spasms have been bad. My bed looks like a tornado hit it and I don't feel well rested as well as being very sore. I hope you have fun at Petco today.

It's 20 degrees here in GA this morning - brrrrrr! I work from home now so I am flip flopping back and forth from my work site to this site.

It's so nice to see familiar threads and familiar faces and avatars again!! :)

left leg is now acting almost normal, and barely dragging, due to self-enforced rests.

also due to two days of nice cool rain, keeping me indoors.

here's the haps:

finished tiling my front entrance accessibility ramp (YAY !) and chip-rocking the pathways so keep from getting all muddy when cruising around.

and for you farm-lovers, here's Riff-Raff, just starting to look preggers.

Afternoon, ya'll. It's about 12 degrees here in northern IN. Spent most of the night last night with a completely numb left hand. I've had it before where it's tingled and felt asleep, but I couldn't even feel it last night! I had to touch it with my right hand to make sure it was still there. Very weird feeling!! One I didn't like at all!!!!

I'm still waiting on my neuro to call me with results from my last MRI. She was out all last week sick so I haven't heard anything. (Had the MRI on the 10th.) I don't even know if she'll be in today yet. I just recently found out she has some pretty significant medical problems of her own. I feel for her, but I also have to worry about me. I think I should probably find another neuro who is at work at little more frequently than she is.

Oh well. I'm going to try to find something to read to keep me occupied until then and I should probably think about getting something to eat sometime today too.

Hey everyone It's about 20 now here in central Illinois! It's a heat wave. Had alot of muscle spasms yesterday; overdid it shopping and having fun on Satruday. Weet to see Atonement. Well done but kind of sad and depressing.

Morning all...just starting my day here in the far north. Its been a week since my LP and I'm finally feeling pretty normal. Normal means its time to hit the books again...lost a week in bed :(

Third cup of coffee down, guess I better get the books cracked.

I just made a huge pot of homemade spaghetti sauce - and it's simmering now for a few hours.

We'll have spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad tonight. Got plenty - who wants to come over for supper?! :winky:

I forgot to mention I have brownies with walnuts for dessert!!

Hi It's so good to see everyone here. I am have some pretty bad spasms today in my legs and back. They become pretty painful at times. I'm just glad I have my buds to talk to:p

Have a brownie Beth - they seem to help my spasms!! :D

sorry to hear about the spasms ... I get them at night when I'm trying to lay down ..

I'm moving to Alaska .. it's 30 degrees there in Homer right now!! it's 5 degrees here in Wisconsin ... what's wrong with this picture??

I think I'm going to get a summer place in Alaska and spend the winters in wisconsin tho ... talked it over with my date last night ... that's right! you guys couldn't read my post that I had a date last night!

he's a junior in college, is a published author: The chronicles of Terra ... and just an all-around good-egg! it was fun to chat with someone in person!! now we're IMing .. too funny!

Congrats Von. A date and a move to Alaska? Sounds better than my day so I will live vicariously through you.

As for spag and salad and brownies - I'll bring the chianti if I can come. Heck, I'll bring a lot of chianti if you want...:wink:

The past few years its colder in the North East than it is here. Last week it was down to subzero temps but it dosen't usually last long. Its 34 today in Anchor Town and the roads are a mess, nothing a 4x4 can't handle tho :cool:

Wow! I was so excited to see all of yall on the thread! Now all I have to do is get everyones addresses again as mine were all lost in the dump! No cards for any but a few! My dog got butchered...not really but I do not like the hair cut they gave him! Olivia wore me out wandering around Petco and now hubby has edcided he wants to buy a bird...good grief! 2 dogs 2 kids homeschooling the house and now he wants a bird???? I know what I want,a nanny and a maid! LOL

Perfect plan!! Actually, DH and I have been planning our 'retirement' (lol, I'm 43)...the plan is to live here from April/May to Sept/Oct and then find a nice place down south....thinking the Keys, Texas....even Mexico.

Just need to get running water at the cabin (north of here) and we can live free (except for taxes)....then have a Condo or something down yonder. I suspect we could live with 70 degrees year round if we plan it right :cool:

Whats stopping us? That darn college student of ours :heartthrob:

Hey all!! I am so glad to see all of the familiar faces. I know I do not post much but I do read all of the time so I was a bit panicked there for a minute. I consider all of you my friends and my support group.

Like Renee mentioned, but for a few, I lost all of my physical addresses and email addresses. So, if those interested would be so kind, I wouldn't mind having them again. I will keep them in a safe place this time. Right now, I have a fistful of postcards and stamps with no place to go!! I thought that only happened to me! ;)

Getting a treadmill this week. I cannot wait. Of course, now I will not have too many excuses left to get off these 40 pounds MS gave me. :D

I'm a biologist, I love all critters (except spiders):D

HI all...sarah here...using my sabimax name..as sarah was taken...I mean you would think the name is common or something lol...

someone said 30 is cold..someone said 20s cold...

alas....Vonn knows....and so do I ..cold is when you wake up and head to work..and your van temp reading for outside says -10..burrrrrrr

then you get to midday...sun shining and still maybe 1 degree....burrrrr

that is what it has been last few days...

anyhow YEAHHH Patriots....

I am feeling awful tonight, 100% humidity..my legs are feeling numb and less sensation....cant feel much when touching them...like I can tell I am touching them..but less....uggg numb/tingling burning feet...and face....and coggy foggy......now how can it be anxiety...if it happens and then I peek and the weather is always humid....I am only anxious when humid outside lol...

anyhow enough of that...we know I have something..drs just dont know lol...

I miss you guys....and you get spankings for doing a insights without finding me.....waaaawaaaaaa BUT I FOUND YOU :cool: now that I did....you all get :grouphug: haha
