My sis was scheduled to leave the hospital today and go to live with her DS's family. She is still very ill but wants to get out. I decided not to have her come here. Just too much both for her & me...

I've been using the CPAP Maxine & DH said he couldhear me snoring from the bathroom this morning...also noticed my legs were jerking...I was awake until around 2 this morning with twitchy painful legs. I was tempted to call my Neuro after all that, but decided to see how tonight goes...

Debbie, I have not been using my cpap too much for the last ten days or so. I am just so stuffed up that it has been driving me crazy. I feel like I have been sleeping better this week without it.:rolleyes: I am going to get a different mask next month when insurance will cover it that hopefully allows me to sleep better on my side.

Barb, ever since my neuro prescribed a nasal allergy spray I have had absolutely no troublewith a stuffy nose...he prescribed veramyst...I got a full night's sleep...well almost...had a leg cramp while turning over, but otherwise, last night was good. You might want to try getting something like that...neuro said allergies were awful this summer.

My sis is supposedly home. I'm going to call her later...

We have decided to drive up to DD's house on Sunday to help her and SIL put walls up in their downstairs bedroom, as well as electric outlets, lighting, and hopefully the ceiling. Shouldn't be too bad...I hope;) They were going to to up to the family cabin, but it's supposed to be 41 there on Saturday night:eek: so they will appreciate the help and having an excuse to stay home.

I love Fridays...it's getting to be so lonely during the week. If I keep feeling this good without the stupid fatigue, I hope to go out and get a part time job, even if it's only seasonal. I need to get out of this house and see adults. Even if it's volunteering, it's time for me to pull myself up by the old bootstraps and get a life:rolleyes:

Labor Day is sad this year with so many out of work...we need to keep jobs in the U.S.!! We have lost a few million jobs-permanently-to jobs going overseas, where it's cheap labor.:Soapbox:

My sister is "home"...at her son's house. I can't believe how much better she sounds...she hasn't smoked in almost a month, and her voice is so much stronger. She's down from 4 liters of oxygen a day to 2 already!! Her legs are still swollen, but she's happy to be out of the hospital...

Hi Debbie -- I'm here.:Wave-Hello: I have been wondering the same thing. It seems like a lot of people have gotten tired of insights or have moved on to "greener pastures." It makes me kind of sad. Less friends in the real world and less friends in the cyber world.:Sigh: I am glad your sister is at home and hope that she continues to improve. I have been wondering if we should move Insights to the Stumble Inn.

My big plans for the day are to go to Sears to look at tv's. They are having a pretty good sale. And I might take a drive to a little town north of here that has a few cute craft and antique shops.

It is sooooo nice and cool here this morning! I just love this change of weather.

DS left a little bit ago to go bike riding with some friends at a bike trail up in the mountains. Such a pretty day for it.

Debbie, I'm glad to hear your sister is improving. I hope she stays away from the cigarettes. Maybe the break she's had from them will help her quit altogether.

Where's Sox? I know she's busy with school beginning and everything. I've been thinking of her DS and hoping he's having an easier time this year. Anxiety can be so hard to deal with.

Hurricane Earl is probably pounding the NE with rain and wind today. Hope everyone up there is okay.

Time for a shower and then........I don't know! There are a couple of recipes I'd like to try out so maybe I'll get busy in the kitchen today.

Morning all! Sitting here with my cheerios and getting ready for my pills and coffee. I'll go in a bit early because I have a package to mail and need to go to the bank.

The cleaners did a great job on Thursday. They like that I declutter beforehand. They can do a better job and faster.

DS29 headed up north with a couple of friends so go kayaking on lakes and streams in Vilas County. It was in the 30s up there last night already. :eek: He survived boot camp and living in the desert in Qatar so I keep telling myself they'll be fine. He's very resourceful too so they'll be fine.

DS27 helped his girlfriend to move this weekend. He doesn't call or stop home much more so I'm guessing he's pretty serious about her. I hope she'll be good for him. He's my baby. She's a very pretty and talented girl and a social butterfly like him. :)

I work until closing today so you all have a nice holiday weekend. I have tomorrow off but work Monday but we get double time and a half for it so that's a good thing. I asked my boss about the management job opening in our store and he isn't ready for me to leave sales yet. I thought that would be the case but at least he knows I'm interested.

I almost bought a new tv -- 40 inch sony, but they wanted 69.00 to deliver it and 139.00 to install it. The store is 6 miles from here.:mad:
