Well thats the last time I just yada yada on forever with Sandy on the phone LOL I turn on the TV to find we are surrounded by tornados! I think someone has hexed my wonderful weather! Seriously many people were injured and lost their homes 20 miles down the road from me (the same area my neuro is in) My thoughts and prayers are with those people tonight.

TK, wow, I remember 18. The rules of the household did NOT change at all until I first came home from college. Chores were the same, but curfew became "here's a house key. It's in the 50s today and the 60s tomorrow. My stepmom's surgery went very well. They saw something else in there that looked funky so they did a biopsy on that too, which we won't know until next week sometime what the results will be. I have a feeling the radiation from her cancer treatment might have done some damage as well as help. :( But I am so proud of her. Dad told me that my nephew asked if grandma was worried. So she took him to the computer room and explained the procedure for him from an online source to put his mind at ease. Dad says it was really cool to watch. |

Hey Kay ... a couple of weeks ago, I had a 50th wedding anniversary celebration .. and *ENJOYED* the dry-red wine ... it had a bit of a zest ... and it was GOOOOOD!! I think I may of overstepped my MS boundaries - ah, heck, I'm too old for boundaries ... have at-er GIRL!! Now I'm afraid to just have a bottle in the house ... but, MAYbe!!
well, I did it - slowly! I cleared out everything in my sewing room.... sorted and tossed stuff, moved stuff to it's new home (like my painting stuff) ... and seperated colors and UFOs (unfinished objects) to work on NOW!! have school to attend for a bit ... and some paperwork, and then FACE THE GIANT ... bills!! :yikes: ... guess what I thought of today?? I'm thinking of giving a letter of 'invite' to the children in the park (we have a small park) ... for a 'READING HOUR' when school gets out in June .. maybe one day a week ... maybe I can influence them on their attitude and language (some of them have a pretty nasty tongue .. because their parents talk like that!) ... and I can read them Tom Sawyer ... so if any of you have some good book ideas .. let me know!! (I'm trying to face my GIANT paying my rent ... this will help me find favor with everyone in the park for doing a good thing, right?) have a great day! my thumb is still tingling .. but, I'm good! Renee glad you are all safe in the east Vonn hope you feel better, what age are the kids Vonn Cayo dont kill yourself ok dont over do it eveyone else have a good day well had to cancel neros the neuros appt i got the flu this has not been the best 3 months let me tell you, I called and asked him what he wanted me to do, and he was honest and said he would rather not have the flu bug in his office, which i totally understand, that is why i called, I remember once at a docs appt with my two little ones this lady has there in office with her kid sitting there with the chicken pox (which I have never had) , i go up to the nurse and asked her should she have her kid in here with chicken pox, the nurse freaked out on the lady chased her and the kid out of the office, that was an interesting visit needless to say my kids got pox, i still have not had them so I figure somewhere i must of gotten them,it must of been such a mild case that it went unnoticed, because, i sweat bullets for close to ten weeks while my two shared the pox, needless to say i am going stir crazy 3+ months of bs bs bs bs first viral then broncitis then flare now flu, actually it started with inflamed bladder and uti in dec end of november, please tell me this isnt how its gonna be forever, cause this is bs bs bs bs as i recently posted, this is not for me, sorry about the whine i am just so (6,21,3,11,9,14)*sick and tired of being sick and tired anywho not a good day, just frustrated * (use your ovaltine secret decoder ring to figure that one out) |

ocd drives me crazy i check stuff a lot ever watch show "monk?" i dont like anyone running for president much so im unhappy about politics people seem to drive faster and people are getting ruder in my state i suppose crime seems like its up and people have been rude to me to say the least in my town well i could say more but its depressing i think i vomited other day i was upset or it was something i ate had a cold for 3 weeks that was the worst internet connections are slow and im sick of the internet im also paranoid and poor caseworker or no one told me i can get that stupid bush rebate why would i need 600 dollars? give to the illegals -not me right!!!!!!!!!!!! life passes me by too it seems |

I'm sitting here with my coffee listening to a bright red cardinal sing his little heart out. I put a big pile of sunflower seeds under the bird feeder and I guess he's calling all his friends to share in the jackpot. Right now there is a mockingbird eating them and he has declared himself the "warden" of my backyard. If he doesn't like a certain bird he'll chase them out of the area!! Then he goes and sits on top of the little storage barn and sings and sings. They are such fun to watch. I've rearranged my furniture for the umpteenth time. My poor son never knows where everything will be when he walks through the door everyday! :o Wish I could work out in the yard - maybe plant some tomato plants. I know once I get out there and just a little overheated that will be it for me - my day will be over. I'm thankful I can just sit here and watch the birds.....could be a whole lot worse....:) Ya'll have a great day! Somebody told me it's Spring but my thermometer tells me different! :rolleyes: |

Frank, The problem with an IV for coffee is it's another needle. Otherwise, it sounds like a wonderful idea. :D Kitty, Wish I could rearrange the furniture in my livingroom. If I had thought about it before we purchased it, I probably wouldn't have. There's only one place to put the tv, so we're kinda stuck. lol. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good morning all. :) The sun is shining, got my morning cup of coffee, and it's cold here. :eek: At least it's supposed to warm up, but we had a frost warning last night. Renee, UTI area side effect of tysabri, but I know you have not been on it too long. fin -- I too have tried rearranging my furniture but I also only have one place the tv looks right. So I moved everything back.:thud: It looks like it is going to be a nice day here. I have had to turn the heat back on recently. So maybe I can turn it off for the summer soon. I have to go into school this morning for a honor student' thesis defense. Then I need to start thinking about packing for my trip to the beach. I leave on Saturday, but I am driving over to the airport in Indaianpolis and staying overnight on Friday so I will not have to drive over in the middle of the night. I am still dealing with the effects of the anitbiotics ( some nausea). My doctor said on Monday that my lungs seemed clear to him and he does not agree with the other doctor's dx of walking pneumonia. He sad he thought it was something viral plus allergies. UGH! Now I am wondering if all along it was allergies and MS hug. My throat still feels tight and I am still coughing a litlle. I am just tring to ignore it and hoping it will go away over vacation.:Bang-Head: I am pretty annoyed with all doctors now. All he wanted to talk aobut was scheduling my colonoscopy. So it is scheduled for late in May. Yeah!:rolleyes: My typing keeps getting worse. It kind of scares me. |
Barb feel better soon, I know it has been a rough year for you! As frank correctly put it the other day...this year doesn't seem to have been kind to any of us! Going to go pick up my antibiotics in a few GRRRR.

Curious - Thank you for being so supportive of cloudz. You're awesome. Frank - I had the same trouble with that word too. I was in the game room and mentioned learning to read with the Sally, Di*k, and Jane books and it got censored. LOL. Bird and I got a kick out of it. I hope you get your sleep schedule switched around so that it works better for you. HK - I move my furniture around every now and then. DDs hate it when I do that. LOL. But it can be refreshing and give the room a "new" look. (((Renee))) - YUCK! I'm sorry to hear about the UTI. I hope it goes away quickly for you. Fin - I have paintings like that too! LOL. The good thing is you can paint over them. I'm working on a big one right now for DBF. It's a Harley kind of abstract painting. I'll post it when I am done. I'm not very good at photographing the paintings but here are the ones I did for my sister and my Mom. The flash made my Mom's look like glitter but it is just the flash reflecting off the glass. Barb - Just read you post after I posted. I hope you start feeling better soon. Going to the beach may really help your allergies, sinus, and bronchial stuff as well as the emotions; relaxation may help everything else. I find that when we go to the beach it really helps.

Thanks Fin! I am a terrible photographer and all the tiny details in the cross don't show up. It took me 6 hours to design that thing!:eek: Then it took a few days and lots of layers to create the old metallic look as well as the all the grooves of the cross.

I finished the quilt top (54x70) for the wedding on the 17th .. just have to quilt and bind it .. but the big part is done! now to work on the one for July! and get projects done for my october show!! Kelly - you sound like me .. changing all the time, but the funny thing is that no one comes over to visit - just isn't room! so I'm only changing stuff for me, which is okay! sorry about your UTI, Renee ... hopefully that will clear up soon! Sandy - already CUT your lawn?? mine still is sorta brown and the green is just starting ... my tulips are only 5-6 inches (leaves) high ... Cloudz - I have those days too .. And frustrated GRRRR still trying to get in to see my primary care physician...just talked to her nurse she has no openings yada yada we are only doing her schedule one day at a time yada yada she is only working half days blah blah call back on Friday and we'll see if we can't get you in sometime next week. Why bother working as a primary care physician I haven't seen the woman in 4 months!

second night in the new house, went well... but still no hot water hook-up. I was up at the crack of dawn (shopping/errand day today), and I must say... a cold shower... was loads of fun! :eek::(:eek: found a beautiful new dresser and amoire (cabbagebark hardwood), and bought a half-dozen small palm trees for around the pond... now back in my comfy corner desk nest-area... resting and relaxing with an icy-cold strawberry smoothie (WOW, found a package of frozen strawberries at the grocery store, how EXCITING !!) NaeNae, sorry 'bout your UTI... we're twinlets again... 'cause I've got one too! in all the hustle-bustle of moving, I packed de vitamins and supplements, and haven't taken my cranberry pills in TWO WEEKS... so... guess what? :o Frank, hope your dangly bits stay firmly attached. :p Vonn, you're my hero... I'm as mentally motivated as you, full of ideas, but LACK the, er, um, follow-through... due to being plum-tuckered-out... :rolleyes: Sandy, Sir?
