Thanks for the good sounding idea.

I'm going to call my husband who isn't home and ask if he will
bring some.

i am trying the ornish diet. I think i might have lost four pounds. yesterday i read two thirds of his book Spectrum...it has everything in it about life styles...it talks about meditation, exercise, support groups, besides ten percent fat only no fish meat or chicken but complex carbohydrates fruit vegetables etc legumes

Not sure if I'm losing anymore. But I'm just happy to say my clothes
that fit good or a little tight are now loose. So I'm fine with how things
are going other than I need to eat more to stay healthy.

but I'm doing pretty well.

Even though my scale is going down...I hate seeing myself in the mirror.
I have a lot of extra pounds that look awful! even if I got to my idea weight I would still not be happy with the way I look because I am a pear shape....I can't change that.

Dear Bobby

Good to see you here. Good job and i hope this Ornish diet works well for you!

whatever i might have (?) gained after i came back from the funeral seems to have disappeared again, and took another couple pounds with it.

Dear Bizi

maybe you could start thinking about the style of clothes that you wear, things like blouse length and whether it is tucked in or not can make a lot of difference in look; we can pick clothing that complements our natural shape. bone structure is not something that can be changed. but, for instance, just wearing dark bottoms and light tops (not viceversa) helps balance things, visually, if you have broad hips.

thank you...i need all the encourage i can get ..i got on the scale today and lost eight pounds. I had two servings of the dreamfields pasta yesterday which fills me up. I have alot of romaine lettuce in the refrigerator. I have low fatdressing. I have broccoli and butter buds. The amount of weight i have to loose is huge and when i think of it i think i can't do it. I wonder if this rapid weight lose is a lot of water weight. Ornish says try to lose two pounds a week. I seem to be losing a pound a day.
