you've gotten some good advice.
i have lots of muscle problems too.
if i'm overdoing my body will really object.
if i push too far i pay the price.

i've used baclofen for muscle spasms too. i only used it PRN (as needed) and stopped when the spasm went away.

i too agree that heat is good for tight muscles.
moist heat is best, thus a very warm (but not hot) bath to immerse both your legs would be helpful.

be very careful using a heating pad. too much heat or too high a temperature can tend to dry muscles out. that's why moist heat is better.
