Thankfully I know the warning signs from years past. My sinus infections used to turn into bronchitis all the time as a kid, so that is one thing I learned the hard way. :o |

Joelle, I am sorry that you are not feeling well. :Sorry: Hope those meds work! Cayo, I'm packing my bags too. I'll there as soon as I can dig my way out of the snow. My update: Not much is going on here. Just waiting for it to snow.:rolleyes: We are supposed to get between 6 to 10 inches today/ tonight and another 1 to 2 tomorrow morning. I am runinng out to Wal Mart to pick up a few things and the latest John Grisham book. Vonn, Where are you? Hope You got your water to work and that you are ok. |

my family had was along with cough, cold, fever, sore throat, was severe sinus pain and upper teeth pain on one side. :eek: We all had it that way. strange. But the sinus pain is gone just left with stuffy nose and cough. Happy Day girl! Soxmom |

***UPDATE*** well, the water is still frozen .. hanging in there - was absolutely wonderful today .. about 10 degrees ABOVE 0 ... went to the thrift shop with a carload of donations ... and ended up buying $10 of goodies! LOL got somemore tax returns (and checks) in the mail today ... so, I better get busy .. still holding A's in school ... :eek: and, down to 2 TV channels - so I'm watching movies from the library! and I'm having trouble walking and shaking ... but, good! |

It's been snowing here all day and it's bone chilling cold. I've had my nephew for the past three days. He's four years old. Love having him stay with me, but was ready for my brother to pick him up this morning. I was starting to get really, really fatigued. He's a really sweet, well-behaved child. my sister is tickled pink..she was soooo very teary, shakey at the airport...cant imagine hubby being gone a year to Iraq with just a visit.... and the five kids were so ecstatic...the signs they made to welcome daddy home...and their uncle...his brother is touring Iraq with him this time..so they both are home for a visit... Could only have half a cup of coffee this morning, so I'm dragging. I have a wonderful VEP scheduled today, so not as much caffine as usual. Wonder if I should hit Starbucks after I'm done? LOL. :D No snow on the ground yet for us, but the trucks have been out pretreating the roads. Ok yall,here's my update: hubby brought me home a dozen roses,half an orangey melon color and the other a yeallow color not bright yellow but dark, they were really pretty,he also made me a cake, and gave me a card with forty bucks in it, LOL as if I don't make him pay for everything anyway, and we went out to dinner to a really good Mexican place here. the tank and tubes for the solar water heater are going up too... so exciting! oh, and our 15 thousand gallon underground cistern is FULL! so, I'll be takin' a NICE long WARM shower, in my brand new, fully accessible, tiled, benched shower, with grab bars, and long hoses for gettin' extra clean! oh, I'm-a gonna be a HAPPY camper, kiddies! :D :cool: :D |

Well, we ended up with about 12 inches of snow down in my little town. The snow blower worked overtime and pooped out just as I was finished. I plowed the double driveway, sidewalk, shoveled the porch, stairs, back porch and played in the snow with Bergie. :thud:
